Bill's funeral took place at 2pm on Tues 25 April at Beaulieu Abbey Church. The church was full, and it was wonderful to see so many of you there.

The beautiful floral tributes were by Fin at Belle & Blossom in Beaulieu.

If you were unable to attend and would like a printed order of service I have kept some back so please get in touch and I'll send you one.

After the service we held an afternoon tea reception at Beaulieu Village Hall. Again, it was packed! Many thanks to Di Morley and her brilliant catering team, also to the many friends who baked cakes. There's leftover fruit cake here at the house now - if you're passing please call in for a cuppa and a slice!  

We then continued remembering and reminiscing in the garden and covered outdoor area at Bill’s favourite pub the Turfcutters Arms in East Boldre. The garden was full of us all. It was amazing and the sun continued to shine. See picture gallery for photo taken by Loz who had the presence of mind to shout to us all to look. What a lovely memento to have.

Some of our dear friends stayed on for the night then joined us “At Home” on Wednesday, although it was a bit chilly in the garden the rain held off and it was so lovely to have a bit more of a catch up especially with friends who'd travelled from all corners of the country and even, Canada!
